Financial Management
The Directorate is responsible for maintaining prudent financial management within the Directorate, in line with Laws and Regulations governing State Finances
What We Do:
- Prepare and monitor the Ministry’s Budget;
- Control the course of expenditure in relation to appropriated funds;
- Prepare reports on budget execution;
- Ensure compliance with Laws and Regulations governing State Finance;
- Process staff-related expenditures and allowances;
- Process supplier’s payments;
- Compile Financial reports;
- Collect, safe keep, bank as well as report on different sources of revenue collected by the Directorate;
- Prepare reports to Auditor General and respond to audit queries directed to the Accounting Officer.
